Vantage exists because we spent 14 years running an agency with tools that made us want to throw our laptops out the window. So we built something better.
Why we built this
In 2023, we were running a 15-person agency on Accelo. Every Friday morning, I'd sit down to invoice clients and discover the same time entries from last year showing up again. I'd invoice the same work twice. Three times. I had zero confidence in what was billed versus unbilled.
The reporting was a paid add-on. And it still sucked. I couldn't see who was working on what. Couldn't see total capacity. Couldn't see which clients were actually profitable versus which ones were slowly bleeding us dry.
I was running a business with no visibility into the business.
So I started looking for alternatives. ConnectWise? Built for IT companies, not agencies. Productive.io? Cluttered UI, and people still run Teamwork alongside it. Monday + Harvest + QuickBooks? Three tools that don't talk to each other.
Every option was either overkill, underwhelming, or required duct-taping multiple tools together. The industry calls this a "frankenstack" and every agency owner I talked to was dealing with the same thing.
So we built Vantage.
